Water in our body

Water is needed to sustain life. The average person holds between 70-60% water content. An obese person holds 45-55%. Water helps with thirst and dehydration. Water is a natural stress reliever. Water is used to transport nutrients about the body and also regulates body temperature. Water promotes regular bowel movement. Water increases better metabolic processes of the body. Water in the body is lost by defecation, urination and perspiration all the body's waste products. Water holds zero calories. The human body needs eight glasses of water a day. Sources of water are fruits, vegetables and water itself.
